This position supports the Foundation's Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer (CDO) who serves as a member of the Hospital's senior management team. This position manages a wide range of executive administration projects to support the CDO. It helps to ensure optimal operations of the Foundation and its various support systems and processes that have been designed to encourage philanthropic giving by donors. The position also helps to establish and cultivate positive relationships with donors and other important internal and external constituents of CHRCO and the Foundation. It also provides support to selected others on the Foundation staff as required by various work projects.
Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in business or related field required. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as an administrative or executive assistant.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Excellent research and analytical skills for report production. Excellent writing, composition and secretarial skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong service and collaborative team orientation skills. Ability to interact successfully with members of the Hospital community and Foundation constituents. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, solve problems and manage multiple priorities in a timely manner, producing high quality outcomes. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Power Point and Excel. Some experience in Raiser's Edge database or other fundraising software program preferred.
