Job Summary:
The Perioperative Clinical Educator works directly with the Director of Surgical Services and the Nursing Coordinators. Collaborates with all Service Team Leaders, CNIIIs, and SS staff to ensure that there are mechanisms in place to meet Perioperative patient care needs utilizing AORN, ASPAN and other regulatory standards. Provides perianesthesia/perioperative staff support in the areas of orientation, continuing education and maintenance of standards of care. Acts as a role model to inspire others to excellence.

Job Requirements:
: Two years minimum experience in a OR clinical environment w/ Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience.
Required Licensure/Certification: RN (California license) CNOR /ASPAN (preferred) CPR PALS (within six months) ACLS (within one year).
Preferred Qualifications: BSN Masters degree in related field
