Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Development Coordinator provides organizational and administrative support to and coordinates activities for a Foundation  Team.

Position Requirements:
Education:
Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in foundation
Experience: Two years experience with administrative work, preferably in a non-profit setting.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency with Word and Excel, working knowledge of Powerpoint and Raiser’s Edge helpful.Excellent communications skills. Understanding of or ability to quickly learn fundraising basics. Excellent time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to remain flexible with work schedule and projects. Occasional attendance at evening and weekend meetings and events is required. Ability to interact successfully with foundation and hospital staff members, physicians, volunteers, donors and board members. Enthusiasm, sense of humor and flexibility is highly desired.
