This position supports the Vice President of Philanthropy (VP) who serves as a member of the Hospital's senior management team. This position manages a wide range of executive administration projects to support the VP, helping ensure that the Foundation operates optimally to support to encourage and increase philanthropic giving by donors. The incumbent helps to establish, cultivate, and steward positive relationships with donors and other important internal and external constituents of CHRCO and the Foundation. The Executive Assistant also supports other members of the Foundation team.
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (Associates/Bachelors degree preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as an administrative or executive assistant, or equivalent related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent research and analytical skills for report production. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and secretarial skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong service and collaborative team orientation skills. The ability to work with all levels of staff; to work harmoniously within a culturally diverse community; to contribute to a constructive working envirnoment; to interact with others with courtesty and profesionalism; and to resolve conflicts in a manner that demonstrates a high customer-service ethic. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel, is essential. The ability to develop proficiency in Visio and other computer software programs is also required. Some experience with Raiser's Edge database or other fundraising software program preferred. Ability to work independently, anticipate and solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a timely manner, producing high quality outcomes.Superior verbal and written communication skills.
