Job Summary:
The Senior Director of Development Services and External Relations, serving as a senior member of the Foundation leadership team, actively develops and implements high quality donor engagement strategies to support the fundraising efforts of the foundation.  This position oversees the events and development communications functions that service each distinct fundraising line in the foundation to create meaningful methods for donors to get involved and invested deeply in CHRCO.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years major gift fund raising experience. Demonstrated familiarity with cultivating, soliciting and stewarding prospects and donors. Demonstrated knowledge and utilization of information systems to support fundraising activities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills, self-confidence and assertiveness, diplomacy, teamwork, good judgment, and respect for confidentiality. Willingness to travel outside the office, occasional evening and weekend work, and to adjust to other needs of the department. Ability to represent the Foundation to external audiences through the use of strong verbal and written communication skills.
