Job Summary:
The Management Coordinator reports to and assists the Practice Administrator and Division Medical Director of Pediatric Rehabilitation in the operation of the Occupational Therapy department.  Such operations include, but are not limited to, the following:  planning, developing and organizing daily clinical operations, facilitating program development, and directing occupational therapy services. This person shall also provide leadership and supervision to the occupational therapy staff, ensure the respective clinical competencies, and work closely with the Practice Administrator and Division Medical Director to ensure growth and stability of the assigned department.  This person shall also provide direct occupational therapy patient care as needed.

Position Requirements:
Education:
Master's Degree
License/Registration: Valid license as an Occupational Therapist by the California Board of Occupational Therapy. Registered by the National Board of Occupational Therapy. Current BLS.
Experience: 3-5 years applicable Occupational Therapy experience incorporating Pediatrics and Supervision.
Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.  Excellent clinical skills, especially related to pediatrics.  Effective written and verbal communication.  Good physical condition including ability to lift, transfer and move heavy/awkward patients and equipment.  Moderate walking and sitting required.

Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 6 hrs
Lift/Push/Pull: 25 lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment
