The Educational Services Senior Administrative Assistant provides database management, and phone and clerical functions needed for the administration of continuing education benefits. S/he coordinates video loans and department purchases, as well as supporting all other departmental administrative and programming needs and providing customer service on the phone as well as in person. The SAA/CE Benefit Administrator reports to the Director, Educational Services.
Three years of administrative experience and a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must have office experience demonstrating excellent customer service, database management, communication, basic accounting, and organizational skills. Must have basic proficiency with Excel and previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite; have working knowledge of office equipment. Must be detail-oriented, independent self-starter who also works well with a team and is flexible in terms of scheduling. Ability to multi-task, handling interruptions and work requests from multiple directions, is a necessity.
