  • Performs experiments to dissect the molecular mechanism involved in INS-VNTR and AIRE protein interaction that contributes to the differential insulin gene expression (in a haplotype-dependent manner) using human thymic epithelial cell line and lymphoblastoid cell lines.  Participation of projects involves islet transcription factor regulation and differentiation for diabetes therapy.
