Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a School for Surgical Technologists. National certification examination to be successfully completed within one year following graduation; subsequent re-certifications are optional but preferred. CPR certification within 1 year.
Summary: A member of the Department of Emergency Medicine who, in association with the team nurse and ER physicians, provides safe and competent patient care to ER patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
