REQUIRED: High School graduate or equivalent.Graduate of a Nursing School. Current PA RN license. Two years of experience or one year hospital experience in a unit with cardiac monitoring. Current PA RN license. Current CPR. ACLS certification, Basic Dysrhythmia Course, Critical Care Course or acquire within 6 months of employment. Trauma Nurse Course within 1 year; PALS within 2 years.
SUMMARY: Provides direct day-to-day care of patients and families. Practices to the fullest extent of his/her license in accordance with organizational policies. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, functions as a member of the Patient Care Team to implement the patients plan of care. Provides care based upon the age and developmental needs of child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Participates with the Nurse Manager in continuous performance improvement.
