Department: CHMC FOOD SERVICES
Schedule: Per Diem
Shift: evening shift
Hours: 3 Hour
Job Details:
  • Perform duties which combine both food preparation and food service; general functions related to production, sanitation, and customer service. May further specialize as a cafeteria worker, caterer, clerk, cook, or dietary supervisor.

    Tasks include:
    -Arrange tables and decorations according to instructions.
    -Clean and organize eating and service areas.
    -Collect and return dirty dishes to the kitchen for washing.

    Detailed Work Activities:
       -Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
       -Documenting/Recording Information
       -Processing Information

    The following knowledges are required:
       -Customer and Personal Service
       -Must be able to recognize age-specific needs of patients and customers and adapt services accordingly.

    The following knowledges are preferred:
    -Food service work experience of 1-2 years

    High School Graduate/G.E.D. preferred.
