Job Summary: Serves as a consultant regarding human resources and organizational issues for assigned Vice presidents and supported groups. Areas of expertise should include, but are not limited to: recruitment, human resources policy development and interpretation, employee relations, behavioral interviewing, compensation/benefits organizational design and development, training, executive coaching, presentation and facilitation skills. Proficiency in MS office suite, Kronos, strong written & verbal communications and familiarity with budgeting processes.
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Administration, Business Administration or a related field. Advanced degree in Human Resources, management, business or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of ten (10) years of human resources experience in multiple areas i.e., recruitment, training compensation, benefits, employee relations, organizational development. Managerial experience preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and analytical skills required. Knowledge of labor laws, EEO, compliance and familiarity with Maine Human Rights required.
