The primary responsibility of this Insurance Follow Up Representative position is to resolve insurance credits, processing adjustment/corrected claims requests and/or refund-check requests.
We desire an individual with prior healthcare follow up or billing experience for both hospital and professional services.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of two years relevant experience, including knowledge of insurance billing and medical terminology. Thorough understanding of various insurance plans, government agencies, Medicare and Medicaid.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge. High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
