Job Summary: The Secretary/Registrar performs patient registration activities, patient lab lookup, patient financial service and collections, answering phones, processing lab orders, processing lab quick registrations, process of mail(incoming and outgoing) in accordance with established hospital and departmental regulations, policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as appropriate for maintenance of patients records as well as the departmental needs.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. One to two years' experience preferred in Medical Secretarial office setting. One to two years' Registration experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge.
