Job Summary:  IN ALL JOB DESCRIPTIONS:   Strategically directs Outpatient Cardiovascular Services for CMMF, I.  Directs and manages the business operations for the Cardiology, CT and Vascular Physician office practices to ensure profitability, productivity, patient satisfaction, recruitment and retention of qualified providers and staff.  Actively participates in regional strategic planning, of CV including operating and capital plans.  Directs the development of people and effectively and efficiently manages people and resources.,   Directs Outpatient Cardiovascular Service lines to support the organization's strategic goals in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and industry regulations.  Participates in performance improvement initiatives that enhance staff development.  Works with regional CMMF leaders to create an exemplary organization committed to providing exceptional healthcare services in a safe and trustful environment through the expertise, commitment, and compassion of our family of caregivers.  Ensures consistency and the development of best practices within department(s).  Provides consistent and comprehensive communication, flow of information and decision making within department(s).


SPECIFIC TO YOUR ROLE:  The Director of Outpatient Cardiovascular Services is accountable for the departments of Cardiology physician practice including regional satellite locations, CT & Vascular Surgery physician practice, Vascular Lab, Cardiac Diagnostics and other functional areas as assigned by the Executive Director, CMHVI.  The Director, Outpatient Cardiovascular Services demonstrates expertise, management and leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the issues and industry standards affecting Outpatient Cardiovascular Service lines.

Requirements:  Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Masters preferred.  Minimum of three years of professional experience in a leadership role in health care management.  Cardiac services or specialty experience preferred.
