High school diploma or equivalent is required

Job Summary: The Environmental Services Aide cleans all areas of the hospital to ensure a clean, attractive and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, preferred. Ability to write simple correspondence, preferred. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Skills: Basic computer knowledge, preferred. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Excellent customer service skills.
