Job Summary: The Office Coordinator is responsible for performing diversified clerical tasks in a fast paced environment. Some responsibilities include: developing and maintaining data collection, drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, assisting with presentation preparation and front office organization and flow while providing support to all members so the department can operate efficiently. Provides reception and direction to all customers in a professional, courteous and efficient manner. Utilizes computer functions for patient registration, appointment scheduling, etc.
Cross training for EHS involves provision of direct and indirect patient care in the practice that is reflective of initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision.
The successful candidate will possess advanced PowerPoint, Word & Excel skills and a high degree of proficiency with computer related data manipulation. The department requires a team-oriented individual, who is highly flexible, dependable, outgoing, and capable of interfacing with a myriad of internal and external customers.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Secretarial training and/or post secondary education preferred. Three to five year's secretary experience required.
Skills: Excellent computer and word processing skills. Ability to type 65 words per minute. 1 – 2 years experience with FMLA and Leave Administration preferred.
