Job Summary: The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Provides direct and indirect supervision of Radiologic Technology students. Participates in CQI activities. Participates in on call, weekend and holiday schedules.
Requirements: High School graduate. Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensed by the State of Maine to practice and administer radiation. Current BCLS certification. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to operate x-ray equipment.
