Job Summary: The Radiation Therapist performs responsibilities associated with the localization of tumors and the administration of radiation therapy. Responsible for patient safety protocols. Participates in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Requirements: High School graduate; BS degree preferred.Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Certified by the State of Maine to practice and administer radiation. Current BCLS certification. Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge.
