Job Summary: The Medical Imaging Technology Instructor has responsibility to ensure that course objectives are met through provisions of assigned course content and clinical labs.  The Medical Imaging Technology Instructor serves as a leadership representative to students and Medical Imaging technology staff providing expertise in clinical and educational endeavors.

Requirements:   A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or college.   ARRT or CNMT registered in Medical Imaging Technology or expertise in the assigned subjects.  Two (2) or more years experience in the practice of Medical Imaging technology or expertise in the assigned subjects.   Teaching experience is preferred.         Membership in professional Medical Imaging technology organizations(s) desirable.  Faculty responsibilities include supervision/teaching students during their planned teaching/learning experiences via the Internet, in the classroom, and clinical laboratory.  It is expected that they possess knowledge and demonstrate expertise in the teaching/learning process.  Expertise in Medical Imaging Technology is required.  Age specific competency is applicable.

Skills:  Basic computer knowledge.  Basic Internet knowledge.   Ability to operate equipment: computers, projectors, audiovisual equipment, cameras, other equipment used in instruction and patient care.  Excellent presentation skills.
