Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Sleep Lab Coordinator the Polysomnography Technician administers diagnostic testing to patients with known or suspected Sleep Disorders. The night technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic Polysomnography in accordance with physicians' orders and department policies and procedures.
Requirements: Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure preferred. Graduate of AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy ,completion of Polysomnography program, or relevant experience. Current BCLS certification. A minimum of one-year Polysomnographer is preferred. Registered Polysomnographer within 2 years of hire.
