Performs EEG's in an Adult and Pediatric population, plus a trama center and can perform EEG and one or more of the following preferred: evoked potentials (including VEP's, BAER's SSEP's), and/or NCV's. Performs clerical duties. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities.
Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. A minimum of two years experience as an EEG Technician. Current BCLS certification. Attends continuing education courses/seminars when available. Registered with the American Board of Neurodiagnostic Technologist (ABRET) or the equivalent (CAET)within one year of employment. This position requires on-call hours, current drivers license.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Ability to monitor, interpret EEG wave patterns.
