Job Summary:

The Lead/Senior Analyst Revenue Integrity is responsible for informing and supporting the strategic and operational leadership of the Revenue Integrity department.   This position contributes to the financial strength, compliance and overall performance of Revenue Cycle operations by providing information, analytics, reports, and best practice knowledge for all Revenue Integrity functions, including hospital and physician (provider) services.  The Lead/Senior Analyst also provides assistance to the Senior Director Revenue Integrity by providing support and knowledge to the Director of Patient Access, the Director of Health Information Management and the Director of Patient Financial Services to ensure collaboration and alignment of the Revenue Cycle areas.  The Lead/Senior Analyst Revenue Integrity serves in a key role to assist in monitoring and facilitating improvement in the overall quality, timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of Revenue Integrity processes (such as charge master maintenance, charge compliance and accuracy, payment variance analytics and prevention and overall quality and accuracy of all data flowing through the revenue cycle).  Data integrity and reporting of financial performance and impact of improvement initiatives and standard KPIs is required.  The Lead/Senior Analyst will ensure the effectiveness of Revenue Integrity policy, practices and technology platforms.  Net revenue/performance improvement goal monitoring and achievement are required.

 

The position will provide support to the Senior Director in the overall administration, direction, coordination, and evaluation of Revenue Integrity and may be specifically responsible for any of the following:

 

1.      Charge Master Maintenance and Accuracy

2.      Charge Capture Completeness, Accuracy and Reconciliation

3.      Payment Variance Analytics, Reporting and Prevention

4.      Regulatory Adherence across Revenue Cycle departments and organizationally

a.       Provider Based Status and Facility Enrollment

5.      Revenue Cycle Reporting & Analytics

a.       Financial Improvement Goal Setting, Process Improvement, Tracking and Reporting

b.      Data Trending

c.       KPI and Operational Dashboards and Reports

d.      Supporting Organizational Dashboards and Reports

6.      Vendor Management

7.      Revenue Informatics development (if appropriate)

a.       Systems Support

b.      Quality

c.       Training

d.      Policies

e.       Professional Development

f.       Workflow Redesign and Enhancement

8.      Strategic Design of Revenue Cycle Operations

9.      Collaboration with Finance and Managed Care Contracting leaders to ensure optimal pricing methodology

 

 Education and Experience:

1.      Bachelor's degree required, or eight (8) years related experience in lieu of, and

2.      Five (5) years of experience in Finance or Revenue Cycle
