Job Summary: The Therapy Aide / Patient Service Representative provides a broad range support for the Therapy Services in the inpatient and outpatient setting (multiple clinical locations ) with primary focus of responsibilities being:
· Direct clinical assistance to patients undergoing rehabilitation including modality set-up, exercise monitoring, equipment set- up and gait training assistance.
· Patient registration, appointment scheduling, charge entry with service specific specialty coding.
· Support of the therapy clinic facilities; inventory management, equipment management, linen management and over-site of the quality control monitoring plan for Therapy Services.
Daily communication and coordination activities with the therapists, provider office practice staff, materials management personnel, contracted service providers and patients for the purposes of assuring that all support details are managed to assure an excellent patient experience and that all care and facility management standards are met.
