Job Summary: The Interventional Cath Lab Radiology Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities. Participates in on call, weekend and holiday schedules.
Requirements: High School Graduate; BS degree preferred. Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trainees. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensed by the State of Maine to practice and administer radiation. Current BCLS certification. One-year experience in angiography. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Basic computer knowledge. Excellent customer service skills.
