Job Summary:  The Clinical Team leader performs, coordinates, and supervises clinical functions for the practice.  Collaborates as needed with other health care disciplines to meet the needs of the patient and/or family.  Demonstrates and promotes the organization's philosophy of excellent customer service and high quality care. The Clinical Team Leader acts as the patient's advocate, manages supplies and equipment, and promotes teamwork with staff, providers, and personnel in other departments. The Clinical Team Leader practices in accordance with CMMG's Clinical Policies and Procedures.  Maintains performance improvement (PI) activities within the department and participates in PI activities. 



·                    Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.

·                    Must have an Associates' Degree from of an accredited school of medical assistance or a certificate in Medical Assisting or currently hold a valid certification with two or more years of experience.

·                     You must have one (1) the following credentials or be eligible to obtain 1 (one) of the following credentials, based upon the credentialing organization's eligibility requirements, within 90 days of hire:

·                    Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – American Association of Medical Assistants

·                    Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – American Medical Technologists

·                    Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) – National Healthcareer Association

·                    National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) – National Center for Competency Testing

·                    Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – The American Registry of Medical Assistants

·                    National Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) – National Association for Health Professionals




·                    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with up to six (6) months Licensed Practice Nurse experience.

·                    Current LPN license within the state of practice.

·                    Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.

·                    Minimum of two years of nursing management experience preferred.

·                    Minimum of two years of experience in physician's office preferred.

Skills:  Basic computer knowledge.  Operates different equipment utilized in the practice.
