Job Summary 

 This executive will provide leadership in the strategic planning and business development for Medical Specialities across CMH.  Responsibilities will also include leadership in the strategic and daily operations for clinical and business operations for Medical Specialities at CMMC, Bridgeton and Rumford Hospitals, and outpatient clinics.  Activities will include developing and maintaining physician partnerships and engaging clinical caregivers through solicitation of input and plan implementation to provide and improve delivery of patient care, new program development, and value to populations served.

 

The System Director will reliably deliver the clinical services and growth throughout the continuum of care.  This leader will be responsible for growth and process improvement through analyzing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and the development of programs and services.

 

The System Director will assure achievement of Medical Specialities program development at multiple hospitals and ambulatory services across the care continuum and in adherence to hospital policies and standards as set forth by accrediting bodies related to Medical Specialities and regulatory agencies. 

 

This position will work in a dyad leadership model with the service line Medical Director.

 

 Education

 

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->A Bachelor's degree is required.  A clinical degree and/or Master's degree is preferred.

 

 

Experience

 

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Experience in a complex healthcare environment leading Medical Specialities or relevant departments.  Exposure to teaching and/or academic environments is a plus.

 

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Experience leading a Medical Specialities service line or major Hospital Based-related departments.  An understanding of building a system Medical Specialities program, disease group by disease group.

 

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Proven ability to partner with private and employed Medical Specialities groups. 

 

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Knowledge and/or experience with Lean/Six Sigma in a physician practice setting.

 

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Financial management and business development, as well as P&L experience in managing a service line.

 

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->A successful track record of service, growth, quality, and financial performance.

 

<!--[if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Experience partnering with an academic partner in clinical trials expansion, referrals, and protocol adoption.
