Job Summary:  The Central Scheduling Representative is responsible for accurate coordination and implementation of scheduling for various hospital departments and provider locations.  Coordinate and integrate the appropriate resources available for each patient, collaborating with the various departments when necessary.  Scheduling requests are presented to the centralized scheduling area in a variety of avenues, which requires completing multiple tasks simultaneously.  Provide exceptional customer service, to our Patients, Provider Offices, and all Departments.

Requirements: High School graduate.  Minimum of two years relevant experience, including knowledge of scheduling, registration , and medical terminology.  Understanding of various insurance plan requirements, government agencies, Medicare and Medicaid.

Skills:  Must demonstrate the ability to comfortably use a variety of software programs.  High level of interpersonal communication skills required.  Must be detail oriented with exceptional organizations skills.
