The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary healthcare to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education and counseling. Works according to Maine State Rules and Regulations following established Policies and Procedures as required and within established scope of practice. Must be a friendly, energetic and team oriented person looking for a long term commitment. Proficient use of an EMR system, excellent communications skills and pediatric experience a plus. Central Maine Healthcare is looking for a candidate who is willing and able to float to different locations within a local geography to provide additional support to practices as needed.
Requirements: Current Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse License in the State of Maine. Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or certification eligible. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required. Current ACLS Certification preferred. 2+ years of experience in Family Medicine, Acute Care, or Urgent Care required.

Strong computer skills, including EMR/EHR.
