Provides assistance in areas of patient services, clinic operations and clinic/department administration, and with other employees, under limited supervision. Employee coordinates the schedules and administrative duties of the clinical staff and assists with the management of the department. High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Associates degree in business or related field preferred. 5 years experience as a receptionist or in a customer service environment (includes 4 years of progressive experience performing billing, patient registration and scheduling, medical insurance verification, insurance screening and charge posting/coding).
