Job Details:

Provides clinical services for patients and families of patients, including assessment, psychological and neuro-cognitive testing, brief psychotherapy, and when indicated, longer-term therapy, and behavioral interventions to help patients manage procedures and treatments. Collaborates in development of training and educational programs for staff and for patients and families.

Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Eligible for licensure in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Clinical experience with children and adolescents with chronic and/or life-threatening illness and their families preferred. Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team.

Effective communication skills with children, adolescents, and adults. Ability to relate to diverse patient populations. Sensitivity to individuals from varied backgrounds and cultures.
