TCU is a 22 bed CWH based Skilled Nursing/Sub Acute Care facility that cares for patients needing skilled nursing and/or rehab for conditions such as orthopedic surgery/injuries, stroke, end of life care for terminal illnesses, infections needing IV antibiotics, complex wound care, post open heart rehab/care, general surgeries including ostomies, and trach care. We also provide care to bariatric patients.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING:
1. Must be a Registered nurse and have current experience in a skilled or acute nursing environment.
2. Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboarding, email communication and password management.
3. Special skills and abilities:
a. Possesses good organizational skills.
b. Possesses good oral and written communication skills.
c. Experience with personal computers and modems required.
d. Able to become proficient at reviewing and collecting data from the EMR.
e. Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills.
Responsible for coordination of complex patient care among the interdisciplinary team and coordination of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), the electronic transmission of RAI data to the State of Washington Bulletin Board, the transfer of Resident Assessment Group (RUG) data to the Patient Accounts Office, and the ongoing education of those preparing the Minimum Data Set (MDS). Facilitates communication between the Interdisciplinary Team.
