The Admissions Clerk is responsible for obtaining all pertinent information, such as demographic and insurance information, that is needed from the patient or representative of the patient upon admission.
The "pool" employee should be available to work days, evenings, nights and/or weekends, as required for shift coverage.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous work experience as an Admission Clerk or equivalent experience/training in date entry.
- Two (2) years in a Healthcare setting, preferred.
Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
