- Bachelors Degree required. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. At least five (5) years of recent work experience in the area of Benefits Administration, preferably in a hospital setting, and a working knowledge of the laws and regulating this area. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Experience in HRIS, preferably Peoplesoft, including strong report writing and data analysis skills. CEBS certification preferred. Responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee programs. Troubleshoots and serves as a liaison between employees and providers. Maintains expert knowledge of the various benefit plans offered by the Hospital. Keeps abreast of current legislation governing benefits; and recommends changes as needed. Maintains and performs various setup functions in HRIS. Performs data analysis and report writing for all aspects of HR.
