Bachelor's Degree in a related field
This position works in the Corporate Communcation Department and not the Marketing Department.
Job Summary: Responsible for gathering a variety of information to prepare news releases; for writing and editing various internal and external communication pieces; for aiding in the production of various communication pieces (e.g.; brochures, flyers, newsletters); website content management and other community relations projects as assigned. Also responds to media inquiries.
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, Public relations or related field
Experience Required: minimum 3 years experience in media relations, public relations, communications, journalism or related field.
· Knowledge of email systems (i.e. Explorer) Internet software; Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Facebook.
· Skill in operation of listed tools, equipment, and materials.
