Provides outreach athletic training coverage to contracted work settings as determined by the Outreach Athletic Training Coordinator and assists with patient care as well as other athletic training outreach events as assigned. Delivers direct patient care as planned, directed and supervised by the License Physical Therapist as well as instructs patients and families in home exercise programs.
*A B.S. degree is required. Must be NATA Certified and Licensed in Illinois.
*Must be able to communicate with clear and concise written and verbal skills to physicians, consultants, and Rehabilitation team members, patients and patients' families.
*Moderate physical exertion, including frequent walking, standing, bending and reaching and frequent lifting of above-average loads.
*Must be able to work under stress and to adapt to changing conditions.
*Frequent exposure to uncomfortable environmental variations, above-average noise levels, and/or unpleasant substances. Exposure to hazardous or potentially injurious elements or conditions is limited.
