Essential Functions and Job Duties
o Coordination with necessary departments for new physician and/or practice setup.
o Hire, train, manage and supervise office managers/coordinators.
o Manages and supervises CIPS per diem staff.
o Evaluates and monitors performance. Resolves staff grievances within hospital policies.
o Encourages professional growth through training and in-services.
o Provides training opportunities (seminars) for practice staff in medical office skills (i.e. customer services, coding, etc).
o Utilizes PI philosophies and encourages staff through positive reaffirmations.
Assists Executive Director with the preparation and review of CIPS department budgets.
o Helps to set goals and objectives for managers/coordinators.
o Assists with the monitoring of monthly CIPS departmental general ledger reports.
o Assists managers/coordinators with the development of action plans.
o Establishes and maintains a good relationship with the assigned practices, solving problems, providing guidance and responding to requests in a timely manner.
