EAMC is seeking an experienced RN to fill our Corporate Travel RN position in our Staffing Registry. 

Med/Surg and/or Inpatient Nursing Experience in a hospital setting highly preferred.

Corporate Travel RN's will receive $8/hour pay differential in addition to regular hourly rate!

 Promotes a culture of patient safety by reducing patient falls, medication errors, ensuring hand washing compliance and reducing RFI's from patient safety team monthly rounds. Assures excellence in patient care through limiting labeling errors and improving compliance with best practices. Maintains a professional development strategy throughout the fiscal year by completing all required training and educational opportunities. Maintains Financial Discipline for assigned areas.

This position is in our Staffing Registry.  The purpose of the Corporate Travel Nurse position it to provide departments with staffing resources during critical staffing shortages due to vacancies, leaves or other unexpected circumstances.  These nursing resources are available to both the Opelika and Lanier campuses and are expected to travel to either facility based on assignment. 

Travel Nurse Expectations:

Expected to be available to work up to 36-40 hours per week. 

Must work when scheduled.

Must report to the area of assignment 15 minutes prior to beginning of shift.

Corporate Travel Nurses are part of our Staffing Registry and are NOT eligible for benefits.

Corporate Travel Nurses will be required to work holidays if part of scheduled assignment. 

Corporate Travel Nurses will be required to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday.
