The Registration Temporary Services is a part of the Staffing Registry at EAMC and is designed to create a pool of staff that can be used on a temporary basis in a number of areas in the hospital and our outside facilities (Cancer Ctr., physician practices, Lab Outreach, Lanier etc.)
A 3-4 week training course will be provided by our Business Office staff that will cover all areas of patient registration, including an opportunity to train at various live sites. Those who are hired into this service will have to complete the training at a satisfactory level before they can be scheduled for a work assignment.
Those who are hired into the Registration Temporary Services ARE NOT guaranteed permanent employment with EAMC. Candidates chosen for this program are considered temporary, and will not be eligible for benefits. The base rate of pay during the training period is $7.25/hr, and will increase to $11.00/hr once training is complete.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (must provide proof prior to hire). A working knowledge of computers, an ability to operate a mouse, and use of a keyboard is a necessity of this job. Successful completion of a WorkKeys Assessment with a "Silver" ranking or better. This position may require work at both EAMC -Opelika and Lanier - Valley, AL.
*Note: The WorkKeys assessment is a part of the interview process, and will be administered on site and no cost to the candidate. If a candidate has already completed a WorkKeys assessment, he or she will be asked to present proof of their scores before a hiring decision is made.*
