We are currently seeking a Mental Health Security Representative to work in our new long-term adolescence psychiatry unit.
7pm-7am (1-2 shifts per week)
Ensures patient, visitor and staff safety by performing proper techniques for the management of non-compliant behaviors. Provides primary support services in areas of psychiatric facility, emergency room, and other patient care areas. Follows appropriate measures for Line of Sight patients.
Must be able to make decisions under pressure. Must manage stress appropriately. Ability to make decisions under pressure. Will be required to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions. Must be able to handle large amounts of heavy lifting and physical stress created by dealing with out of control patients.
High school diploma or GED. Completion of mandatory CPI course within 90 days year of employment. BLS certification required within first 90 days. Must be 21 years old and have a good driving record. Preferred: 1 year experience in Healthcare, law enforcement or mental health fields
