Operates dish machine and 3-compartment power-soak sink; completes related checks and logs; and serves foods onto patient meal trays or to other customers & prepares basic foods. Accurately serves the right-sized portions of good quality foods and beverages onto patient meal trays. Prepares and delivers patient snacks. Keeps food safe by practicing good personal hygiene and health habits; maintaining time and temperature control of food; cleaning and sanitizing food contact surfaces; keeping assigned areas clean and organized.
Required: Ability and stamina to work well with others in close quarters while meeting tight time schedules. Ability to read, write and follow spoken and/or written instructions in English
Preferred/Desired: Three months of job related experience; ability to operate an institutional dishmachine and complete related operational checks and logs; knowledge of allowed foods and foods to be avoided on various modified diets
