Job Objective: A brief statement of the positions including the general job duties. The Operation PC Technician supports the information technology systems at Eisenhower Medical Center. General duties include: Monitoring data center application, network and server systems through equipment, control panels, error lights and messages. Troubleshoot any issues. Advanced PC Computer building, troubleshooting, and repair skills at the hardware and OS level. Printer hardware troubleshooting and configuration is also required. Maintain scheduling of jobs in accordance with procedures and as directed. Ensure backups of all servers and systems. Resolving trouble tickets, work orders and perform job-related duties as assigned. Support for other Information Systems personnel to resolve issues. Occasionally working with software/hardware vendors to resolve issues. Initiate user access to systems and maintain records pertaining to user's access. Maintain security to IS area and systems.
Education Required: High School Diploma with Associates degree course work completed for Information Systems or other technical degree
Licensure/Certification Preferred: MCSE and A+ certifications
Experience Required: 3-5 years experience configuring/troubleshooting PC hardware and operating systems or equivalent formal education.
Experience Preferred: 5 years in healthcare/hospital environment
