  • Job Summary
    • This position provides clerical support for the department with specific emphasis on streamlining the employment process. Extensive duties require a high degree of computer knowledge and interpersonal skills when dealing with Associates and applicants. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
  • Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort
    • Due to department size, interruptions, noise and stress levels are factors. Minimum physical exertion; must be able to lift 25 lbs. Moderate mental exertion. Must have the ability to adjust to job situations that involve confidentiality of Associate records, personnel and payroll practices. Requires independent action and judgment and must be able to deal with controversial factors in the office and over the phone in connection with department procedures. The task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue.
  • Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents
    • Education: High School Diploma required with advanced study in secretarial and computer software (Microsoft Office) or equivalent experience is necessary.
      •  
    • Experience: Three to five (3 - 5) years of experience in dealing with the public and in all aspects of secretarial duties required. Ability to perform multiple assignments with frequent interruptions is critical. Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities is also vital for this position.

    • EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have highly skilled computer knowledge, also some background knowledge on office equipment such as calculator, fax machine, and copier, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
