Minimum: Successful completion of CAHEA/AMA approved program in Nuclear Medicine Technology or acceptable equivalent in training and experience.
License/Certifications: ARRT or NMTCB certification or certification eligible in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Must be licensed (or license eligible) by the State of New York.
Preferred: One (1) year experience in clinical nuclear medicine.
Minimum: An understanding of anatomy and physiology necessary to the performance of nuclear diagnostic studies. Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control. Ability to deal courteously with public and co-workers. Sensitive and reassuring approach to patients. Discretion in handling confidential information. Flexibility in handling emergencies and other scheduling changes. Interacts with other modalities to function as a member of the Diagnostic Imaging Team. Computer literacy.
