Assists Director to plan, direct and coordinate the activities and daily operations of Food and Nutrition Services including menu evaluation and planning, purchasing, inventory, receiving, food preparation and storage. Assists Director with preparation of FNS budget, schedules, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and counseling.
Required to work some weekends, early and late hours, and special catered events. Available to respond to phone calls and department issues after-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
The following or equivalents are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the position:
- Associate Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years managerial experience in food service in a healthcare facility or 5 years in general food service management
