Coordinate, supervise, and train new team members of the Food Service Department to promote smooth work flow and optimal performance. The Supervisor Food Services 2 assists the Director in the management of the department's food service operations, purchasing, cost containment, inventory, in service education and menu planning for special functions, guest tray, food preparation, distribution and service, and sanitation and safety practices.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics
2 years experience as an Assistant Manager or Food Supervisor in large quantity goods preparation.
Exposed to hazards of steam and heat
Exposed to varying degrees of kitchen elements
Subject to burns and cuts
Frequent prolonged standing/walking
Good visual acuity
Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 35 lbs)
Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
Knowledge of Basic Customer Service Skills, Good Verbal Communication, Reading and Writing
