Fort HealthCare's Health Promotion Department is seeking a full-time Community Programming Coordinator. Primary responsibilities include planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluation of all Forth Health Care events, community programming, and classes as needed. This would include all Fort HealthCare health challenges, fitness classes, railyard fitness, the annual coalition summit, and other sponsored events. This person works closely with the Manager to continue to provide ongoing support to all of the Fort HealthCare community coalitions, the newly forming corporate coalition and their programming.
Requirements are Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, Community Health, or related field, plus a minimum of two to four years of experience in community health education/promotion. BLS certification within department guidelines; recertification as needed. Experience with biometric data collection. The ideal candidate should be an energetic and dynamic public speaker and educator. Working knowledge of assessment. Strong organizational, administrative, collaborative, supervisory, and communication skills. Experience in grant writing. The candidate should be creative and capable of managing multiple roles and responsibilities.
