- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Under the direction of an RN is responsible for patient safety, welfare, and the implementation of therapeutic milieu and treatment plans. Serve as a patient observer on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require any degree of observation in order to maximize patient safety. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficiency of the nursing unit.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
High School Diploma or completion of GED equivalent. Two (2) years of collegiate coursework to include general psychology, interpersonal communication, abnormal psychology, and/or human growth and development is preferred.
Currently certified through the American Heart Association to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Knowledge and general understanding of how to use a Personal Computer (PC).
Communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with persons of various personality types and levels within the organization.
Ability to move, lift, and relocate patients and equipment.
- Ability to be detail oriented and accurate in documenting information.
