 Position Title:       Clinic Supervisor II

 Department:           Genesis Health Group

 Purpose:              Supervises and supports all staff at one or more locations in an effort to provide service to
                       patients and families.  Serves as liaison between physicians and staff and overseas daily
                       clinic operations through support of standards and philosophies of Genesis. Implements
                       administrative directives with staff and physicians.


 Report To:                     Manager, Clinic

 Supervisory                    Mid-Size Group Responsibility: The job requires direct supervision of a small work
 Responsibility:                group or unit.  This includes responsibility for 7 - 12 employees.  Job duties include the
                                full range of supervisory activities such as hiring, training, assigning, monitoring and
                                assessing work, promoting etc.  Work involves ensuring that human resource related
                                decisions are compatible with the organization's policies, practices and direction.


 Materials Responsibility:      Moderate: Work requires moderate responsibility for material resources.  Examples of
                                resources could include operating budgets for a work unit or department, specialized
                                equipment, costly or unusual materials or supplies, large amounts of cash or other
                                material assets.  The employee has a moderate amount of control over these
                                resources.  The cost of errors might result in moderate damage, waste or financial
                                loss.  The difficulty, variety and depth of problems associated with these material
                                resources is moderately complex.

                                                         POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

 Education:                 2 year college program or equivalent experience

 Field OF Study:            Medical Administrative, Business, or Healthcare related field

 Special Training:          Medical terminology, keyboarding, computer experience with spreadsheet & office
                            applications, medical office procedures

 Training Preferred:         Basic Life Support, Mandatory Abuse Reporter Training for practice state, exp with
                             ICD, CPT coding, or HCP Coding system, Medical Office billing software, electronic
                             Medical Record, Frontline supervision course within 12 mos of hire, ALE within 24 mos

 Licensures/Registratio     Valid Driver's License
 Experience:                More than 2 years experience required.

 InterpersonalSkills:       Interaction is with a variety of people inside or outside the organization.
                            Communications are often difficult or stressful in nature. Contact with others involves
                            complex, detailed and often sensitive topics. The job requires a high degree of
                            interpersonal skills to deal with a range of complicated problem situations. Interactions
                            involve gaining the agreement of others.

 Working Condition:         There is limited exposure to moderately adverse and undesirable environmental
                            conditions.  There are some health and safety risks. Position may require safety
                            equipment and precautions.  The amount of time the employee may experience these
                            moderate conditions is limited to 10% or less of their work day.
