GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Clinical NutritionManager will oversee the clinical operations of the Food and NutritionDepartment. In this role, the Clinical Nutrition Manager creates and reviewsclinical policies and procedures, oversees the outpatient and communityprograms, creates staff schedules, and manages the day-to-day operations of thediet office.
In addition, the Clinical Nutrition Manager educates patients,makes nutritional recommendations as needed, and identifies patients at highrisk of significant weight changes / malnutrition. Responsible for screening patients for nutrition risk, documenting follow up interactions, creatingnutrition care plans and modifying as needed.
The ideal candidate will beServsafe certified, have experience with EMRs, electronic patient room service programs, and has some supervisory experience. The Clinical Nutrition Manager will be responsible for modifying therapeutic patient menus based on diet andpatient request. Ensuring all menu recipes are compliant with patient nutritional requirements.
